About this Opportunity:
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting the corporate systems of Orion, by implementing, maintaining and managing the enterprise security systems.In addition, this position ensures all activities performed adhere to ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) and protect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of customer data by participating in annual information and network security training acceptance spot checks on an ad hoc basis guaranteeing constant improvement of Orion.As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.
For Internal and External Candidates:
Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Lehi, UT.
In this role, you'll get to:
Be responsible for the ownership of IT security systems, software, and procedures
Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
Recommend additional security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security
Perform the deployment, integration and initial configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with standard best operating procedures generically and the enterprises security documents specifically
Stay up to date on the latest security intelligence, including hackers methodologies, in order to anticipate security breaches
Maintain up to date baselines for the secure configuration and operations of all in-place devices, whether they be under direct control (i.e., security tools) or not (i.e., workstations, servers, network devices, etc.)
Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software and other system problems
Perform disaster recovery operations, data backups and testing when required
Research and implement new hardware and software solutions to fit company needs
Assist end users with IT issues, serving as a contact and resource for employees regarding IT issues, questions, and concerns
Investigate and respond to employees inquiries in a timely manner
Improve processes with the use of technology
Maintain professional and technical knowledge to support continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with Facilities/Physical Security
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices
Attend conferences and travel as needed
Track vulnerabilities and install corresponding patches
Create Health Performance Reports and Baselines and review potential problems with the Security Manager
Assist in renewing all necessary security subscriptions
Keep corresponding systems up to date in Asset Inventory System
Present ideas and makes recommendations on IT security
Participate on an on-call rotation for 24x7 alert coverage
We're looking for talent who:
Has technical skills and experience in Enterprise Security Systems
Has knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA Frameworks
Preferably has minimum of a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Preferably has CISSP certification
Has minimum of 3 years of experience in information and computer security
Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:
$87,448.00 - $133,873.00The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
