Role Responsibilities

The Clinical Team Leader will lead a team (adult and/or youth) through the Texas Resiliency and Recovery (TRR) model of service delivery for community mental health services. The Clinical Team Leader will clinically supervise the QMHP staff as delegated by the direct supervisor, the Clinic Manager. The position will ensure that staff are assessing patients in a timely manner and recommending level of care based on clinical need utilizing the Uniform Assessment process. The Clinical Team Leader will ensure that staff are making every effort to engage patients in the appropriate level of services. The Clinical Team Leader will develop and monitor processes and reports to ensure the (TRR) process is followed and the services provided are clinically appropriate and fully documented. This will include completing frequent chart reviews with reports given to the Clinic Manager. The position will provide therapy services to both children and adults per UM guidelines utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). The position will be a part of a multidisciplinary team and participate in case staffing. The position will be responsible for training new employees and completing the required TRR training within specified time periods. The Clinical Team Leader will be responsible for clinical oversight and compliance with all applicable standards and contract measures for the teams they are leading as well as team productivity. The position readily accepts additional assignments as requested by the Clinic Manager including direct supervision of the staff in the absence of the Clinic Manager. The position reports directly to and is accountable to the Clinic Manager of the designated Mental Health Clinic. Routine hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexibility to meet program needs. The position is responsible and accountable for adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy.

Salary

Fully Licensed

$73,238.26 - $81,375.84 /yearly

Licensed Intern who will be fully licensed in 6 months

$28.17/hour
$29.74/hour
$31.30/hour

Required Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills

Masters in Counseling, Psychology or related field
Texas license as LCSW, LMFT or LPC or capable of being fully licensed within 6 months of hire
CBT certified or obtain within 6 months of employment
Texas driver's license in good standing as defined by Texana Center's procedure
2 years post-Masters in the Mental Health field

Preferred Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills

Spanish speaking

Job Related Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform SAMA and CPR.
Must be able to perform moderate lifting and carrying (15-44#), pushing, stooping, repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, sitting and twisting.
Must have ability to see, write, operate office equipment, operate a motor vehicle and have depth perception.
Qualified individual must be able to perform these functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
