A healthcare services organization in New York City is currently seeking a new, licensed PediatricHospitalist to join their growing team in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity:

Specialty: Pediatric
Schedule:7 days on; 7days off
Hours: 40 a week

Responsibilities:

The Pediatric Hospitalist will be responsible for:

Supervisingresidents on a busy inpatient service
Managing patients through the continuum of hospital care, including requesting appropriate tests, medication management, specialty consults
Coordinating the care of nursing and support staff
Writing discharge and follow-up notes and communicating with the patient's Primary Care Physician
Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
Board Eligible / Certified in Pediatrics
